Quick answer

You can use one Oparo ID to sign in to every Oparo app — Workspace, Connect, Docs, Files and Phone. You sign in once, and each app recognizes you.

Before you begin

  • You need an Oparo ID. When your administrator adds you to a workspace, your Oparo ID is created automatically and you receive an invitation by email.
  • Two-step verification is required on every Oparo ID. The first time you sign in, you’re guided through setting it up.

Sign in to an Oparo app

  1. On your computer, open the app — for example, Oparo Connect or your workspace address (yourcompany.oparo.ca).
  2. Click Continue with Oparo ID.
  3. Enter your email address and password.
  4. Confirm your identity with your second step — your passkey or a code from your authenticator app.

If you belong to more than one workspace, you’re asked which workspace to open. Pick the one you want — you can switch at any time from the user menu.

Set up two-step verification

The first time you sign in, Oparo ID walks you through adding a second step. You can use:

MethodWhat it is
PasskeyYour device’s fingerprint, face or screen lock. Fastest and phishing-resistant — recommended.
Authenticator appA 6-digit code from an app such as Google Authenticator or 1Password.

Follow the on-screen steps. You can’t skip this setup — it protects your whole workspace.

Manage your account

To change your name, email, password or security settings:

  1. In any Oparo app, at the top right, open the user menu.
  2. Click Manage account.
  3. Your account page opens at account.oparo.ca.

Sign out

  1. At the top right, open the user menu.
  2. Click Sign out.

Important: Signing out ends your Oparo ID session everywhere — you’re signed out of all Oparo apps, not only the one you’re in.
