Quick answer

You can use Oparo Page with a screen reader. Turn on screen reader support so the app announces saves, connection changes and collaborator activity in your document.

Turn on screen reader support

  1. On your computer, open a document in Oparo Page.
  2. In the menu bar, click Help, then Accessibility settings.
  3. Turn on Enable screen reader support.
  4. Under Announcement level, select how much to hear when other people work in the document. Important is the recommended default.
  5. Click OK.

Note: If screen reader support is off, the app stops sending announcements until you turn it back on. Learn how to hear collaborator changes in Oparo Page.

Turn on braille support

Braille support works with a third-party braille display, alongside your screen reader.

  1. In Accessibility settings, turn on Enable screen reader support.
  2. Turn on Enable braille support.
  3. Click OK.

Note: Braille support needs screen reader support. If screen reader support is off, the braille option can't be turned on.
