Ask Opa for help
Quick answer
You can ask Opa — your workspace assistant — questions about your conversations and your clients, have it summarize discussions, draft replies, and carry out actions in your workspace with your approval.
Chat with Opa
- On your computer, open Oparo Connect.
- On the left, click Messages.
- At the top of the panel, click New chat with Opa.
- Ask your question. Opa answers using your conversation and your workspace’s data — clients, invoices, tasks, tickets.
Tip: In a topic, use the Ask Opa box to ask about the current conversation without leaving it.
While Opa works through a complex request, “Opa is thinking” shows its progress step by step.
Use quick actions on a message
Point to a message, then pick:
- Summarize — a short summary of the discussion.
- Extract tasks — turns the discussion’s action items into tasks.
- Draft a reply — prepares a response you can edit before sending.
Approve what Opa proposes
When Opa proposes an action that changes your workspace — sending an email, updating a record — it never acts alone. The action waits for approval:
- On the left, click Activity.
- Under “Opa approvals”, review the proposed action.
- Click View reasoning to read why Opa proposes it.
- For a proposed email, click View proposed email to read it in full.
- Click Approve or Reject.
Note: If you asked for the action yourself and you’re a manager, it shows as “Your request — to confirm” — click Confirm to proceed.
Talk to Opa by voice
- Open your Opa conversation.
- At the top, click Talk to Opa.
- Speak naturally. If you stay silent, Opa goes on standby — speak to resume.
In Opa options during the call you can adjust:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Mode | Conversation for fluid real-time back-and-forth; Assistant when Opa should think, use its tools and act; Auto lets Opa pick. |
| Response time | Fast for short, immediate answers; Thorough when Opa should verify and chain every step; Auto to adapt. |
| Opa’s voice, Speed, Language | Pick the voice, speaking speed and language. Changing the language changes the whole system’s language. |
Note: Voice minutes are metered per your workspace’s plan. If the monthly quota is reached, voice pauses until the next month — text chat keeps working.
